In just a few paces, visitors can walk through time from local volcanic rocks of 600 million years ago to newer limestone of only 145 million years old. Warwickshire’s varied geology tells a good story. It is collected together in the Geology Wall at the Brandon Marsh wildlife visitor centre. The wall was designed and built by members of the Warwickshire Geological Conservation Group (www.WGCG.co.uk).
Come any time from 10:30 am to 4:00 pm on Sunday 5th May 2019 and see the rocks and hear their story told by members of the Warwickshire Geological Conservation Group (WGCG). They look forward to answering your questions.
